The Art of Hand Carving

In our Seveso workshop, hand-carving remains the heart of every collection — a technique that takes years to master and that no machine can faithfully replicate.

The process begins with the drawing: every motif, from acanthus leaf to baroque scroll, is first traced by hand onto solid wood, then carved with chisels our artisans sharpen themselves each morning.

Gilding follows, leaf by leaf, applied with the finest brushes, before polishing reveals the depth of the carving under the light.

It is a slow, almost meditative gesture — one we defend with pride in an age of industrial production. The difference between a piece of furniture and a work of art lies precisely in these invisible hours of handwork.
